As the name suggests, Floatation seems to be floating above everything else. Ingo Maurer created this timeless classic in 1980, which is characterized by its weightless design. The shades are hand crafted from Japanese tissue paper and are attached to thin wires. A solid metal ring acts as a counterweight and contrasts the structure with its red colour.
